I had a nap...

I had a nap this afternoon and holy crap! I put my head on my pillow and was sleeping in about .025 of a second. I was so tired that I was dreaming about dreaming and trying to wake up. Have you ever had a dream that you were dreaming and in the dream you were trying to wake up? It is weird. A koan, even. The last two days I have been way too busy doing things like filling out forms and doing paperwork. For some reason it exhausted me. It is stressful! Before I had my nap I had a cup of Skullcap tea. I am not sure the deep sleep I went into was because I was just simply tried or the tea. If it is the tea I will have to only have it at night.

  2. Naps are excellent. Let us know if it is the tea - I will try and track it down.
    Hugs.

  3. I've had dreams like that. And dreams where outside sounds become part of my dreams, which is also weird.

  4. I love a good nap. I usually have very weird dreams during naps too. My dreams end up being like I'm reading a book or something. I always wish I could pick them back up and start where I left off.

  5. Sounds like it could have been the tea
Specially because of the dreams. I knew someone who used to use it. It gives good sleep though.

  8. Wait, you had a dream within a dream? Are you sure you weren't being incepted? Nowadays I dream of naps.

  9. You do know that depression either puts you to sleep or stops you from sleeping, just as it decides at any given time?

Dreaming about dreaming is a regular thing with me. Usually it’s a nightmare. I find myself fighting to get out of it and wake up.

  10. Hey Birdie, it was the tea. The more you drink the deeper the sleep. Just don't go beyond one cup. It's also great for anxiety.

OMG! You described something I've been having trouble with for ages. I have those dreams where I can't wake up, then I panic and dream about fighting to wake up. It's horrible.

  12. YES! I've had those dreams. Usually they're awful, because I keep thinking I'm awake and then realize I'm still asleep; it happens over and over until I'm frantic to wake up for real. Ugh.
