So, this is my word cloud. I decided to make one because it seems I post the same thing every single day. The common words are sleep, slippers, back injury, hot, laundry and shit. I am surprised peeing and pants didn't show up.

Anyway, another uneventful few days. Went to Costco yesterday and spent way too much money on stuff I will actually use but my god, life it expensive. My daughter got her passport photo because she needs to update her passport again. It is going to be $160.00 for that. I also got a therapeutic massage yesterday and it hurt a lot but my back is getting better.

More running around today. My husband and I are trying to find a coat rack for the front door but the ones we found are made of cheap plastic. We have heavy winter coats and plastic will snap. When we were in Canadian Tire I could feel my latex allergy acting up. I really don't know how people can work in that environment. My tongue and lips were tingling.

I signed up for another palliative course today. It starts in February and goes for 8-weeks. For a long time now I feel stagnant and want to feel more challenged in my career. After this course I want to take the Hospice course as well.

Today I also cleaned the coffee pot.

This is my life.

  1. Intriguing how some words just really pop out -- like life, or sleep, or messy lol! Good for you learning more. I hope you feel much better soon :)

you are so right, life is expensive even when we are just buying our needs.
this upcoming move cost me 130.00 in the last few days just for supplies and space bags:) I dont like spendng but am very grateful that doing so doesnt cause me a hardship as it would so many in the world.

  4. Many years ago, I bought my mom a beautiful sturdy wooden coat rack at a shop at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. It doesn't even tip. That thing is hard core.

  5. Yes, life is quite expensive, isn't it? Has it always been this way, or are things more difficult now? Inquiring minds want to know!

Damn but those passports are expensive! I renewed my daughter's this year, and paid the same amount. And she may or may not use it until it expires. It's not like we travel all that much.

  6. Back when I use to do Costco, I didn't always find the bulk items to be the best prices. But, I did enjoy their holiday decor and candle stuff and sometimes, cheaper books, dvds and movies.

    Haven't been there in ages.

  7. I couldn't spot "shit" in your word cloud -- you mustn't use it all THAT much! Or else I'm going blind. Could go either way, I guess.

  9. I am very pleased that the black beast wasn't evident in your cloud. Which looks a lot like the one in my head.

  11. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a life that includes clean coffee pots and strong wooden coat racks. Go for it!

  12. Some good words in your word cloud are:
    "now" - you are present
"great" - there are positive things
"friend" - a friend is important

  13. Spending money on "stuff" is truly beginning to get me down. Most of it is going for family members but I don't need to be doing it. I must draw the line before it is too late. My income has dropped by 2/3 yet I'm acting like it is the same. And now taxes and insurance, etc are all hitting and Christmas, etc. Oh woe is me....... Don't let me get near a Sams or Costco or Amazon.

  14. Your life is just fine! You don't need to apologize for blog repeats. Life is often on a repeat cycle. Mine is, and at least you got your coffee pot cleaned! Glad to hear your back is slowly on the mend. Backs are not funny when they don't want to play nice.

  15. I've spent more at Costco in the last week than I care to admit. Got a few Christmas prezzies, restocked the freezer, bought some warm clothes and Christmas decorations. Cha-Ching!!
I have to renew our passports too. Thanks for the reminder!
    New courses? Girl!

  16. Your cloud at least looks like a cloud. Mine would look like a storm front. ahahahahahaa!

$160.00 for a passport? DAYUM!! We just get a picture of ourselves and take it to the courthouse here and it costs $20. What a racket!

You were at Costco, I was going to post a picture I found about Costco. It was about buying paper towels and the fact that no one could ever use up that many paper towels in a lifetime. You had to see the meme to appreciate it. To me it was funny.

  17. I love reading your blog and I don't think you are repetitive at all. I hope you find enough money to meet your bills and have a bit left over.

  18. Do you think my life is any different? It's not Birdie. I get up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home, make supper, clean up, watch TV and go to bed. Over and over and over again. Sometimes I don't mind and sometimes I think FUCK!

  19. I only drink instant coffee, so I don't have to clean a coffee pot. :D
