My Day
I got up. Stayted awake for about an hour. Went back to bed. Slept for 3. Got up. Had a bath. Wrote this post. Now I am going back to bed.

This is a nasty bug. Everyone in the house has it. I was going to go to a meeting last night but I forgot that it was even Saturday night. And when I remembered that it was Saturday the meeting had ended. So that was that.
It is a long weekend here in British Columbia. Family Day. It is a new holiday. For me it means sleeping in, which I never get to do because of my job and my kids school schedules. Sleeping in is nice once in a while.
A little anxiety today. I am starting to think that anxiety perpetuates anxiety.
That's it. I never even got out of my pyjamas all weekend. It is now time for bed.
How's the snow? Hope you feel all the way better soon.
ReplyDeleteA little anxiety is better than a lot. Now sleep that bug off.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
Yes, I think it is a vicious cycle.. that bug is surely not helping. Try astragalus? *Hugs*
ReplyDeleteSleep tight. I hope you'll be feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better. We also have family day here, but it's next Monday. Staying in pyjamas all weekend is sometimes the best thing.
ReplyDeleteAnxiety absolutely breeds anxiety. I also now really really want to take a bath. Sure, I know it's because you're sick (here's hoping you feel better soon) but I love a good bath. It seems so luxurious.
ReplyDeleteJust when I was starting to get all excited for you.
ReplyDeleteSo no fair for you to be sick.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a restful sleep and your anxiety and cold both miraculously fuck off.
ReplyDeleteHappy family day! I think Alberta's is next week? I have no idea. Not that I don't have kids in school, holidays evade me.
Hope you get over that nasty bug soon, darlin.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. Sleep good and get well. X
ReplyDeleteGet well soon! With Lysol in hand, I say good night....
ReplyDeleteHope you all feel better soon, that sounds like it sucks. Definitely a time to sleep in.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better by now! drink lots of fluids and rest well.
ReplyDeleteI do so hope that at the time I finally comment on your posting that you are feeling much better. I know we can get sick and tired of being sick and tired. When you can, embrace the wondrous beauty of British Columbia, my friend.
