Explain this...
This is a big WTF? This morning I woke up and the anxiety is gone. Like someone came in the night and turned off the switch. Though I am getting a cold I feel clear headed. My heart is not racing. My hands are not shaking. I don't feel like I am choking. I can take a deep breath. I don't feel the need to cry. The only thing I did differently was taking an antihistamine so maybe I found a fucking miracle cure that may cause millions of people to be anxiety free. Maybe it was saying the Serenity Prayer seventy times a day? Seriously. WTF?
OMG I so hope that is the answer. We are still struggling with DH's anxiety and paranoia. His med was just increased this week. Keep on keeping on, it's hell, but at some point an answer will be found.
ReplyDeleteYou see, 7 x 70 affirmations DO work!

Hooray for the switch flipping and feeling better. I hope it lasts, and maybe I'll try an antihistamine next time :)
ReplyDeletemaybe it was the weaning off of wellbutrin? You know what really helps me when I feel anxious or nervous..an Aleve.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Glad to hear this and hoping that you have more days and they get more and more frequent. When I feel low I try to remember that it comes and goes and I will feel better again. It's not easy to see this when you are low and anxious I know.
ReplyDeleteGood. Glad you found some relief. You deserve it.
ReplyDeletewow... maybe you did find something new... what did it feel like? I am glad you got some relief... is it safe to take it every now and then when one feels anxious and down?
