Day 3 without anxiety. Still no explanation. It is not a med issue because the anxiety left before I started weaning off the current medication. Most of you said not to question it but I do because I want to know what is different so I can keep doing it or not doing it, whatever the case may be.
I am in bed with a cold today. I could be on the couch with a cold but it is so warm and comfy in my bed. I know me though and in about an hour I wont be able to handle it for a second longer and will get up and go do something. I get antsy when I lay in bed for too long. Until then I have my Kleenex (with a garbage bag for used ones, I won't be one of those people who hoard used tissues), cough drops and Gatorade. And I have Netflix! What more could a sniffling, sneezing, coughing, stuffy-headed, congested woman want? Besides Nyquil?

I read your comment over at my blog and I thank you. I hear you. I really really do. Spiritual abuse was never God's plan for us. People lording over other people, using manipulation and control to get us to do things their way....does that sound familiar to you? That is alcoholic behavior. Co-dependent behavior. Dysfunctional behavior and spiritually abusive power-tripping people's behavior. lol It was never the plan for us. I believe the plan was to find a God who accepted us despite our imperfection. Who would walk with us toward wholeness, who would help us up when we fall, loves us perfectly *right where we are at.* No expectations for perfection. No expectations for anything other than that we allow Him in. I am so glad you commented. There are lots of people recovering from this sort of stuff.....you are not alone. <3
ReplyDeleteJeez, gotta get me a bottle of NyQuil!
ReplyDeleteHope your well soon and feeling better. I hate getting a cold and wouldn't wish one on anyone....
ReplyDeleteIt has a course. It runs it. That's what I think.
ReplyDeleteUgh, I hope you feel better soon! I take Chinese herbs that are over the counter for my anxiety and they really help - they're called Ardisia 16.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the cold, it seems to be working well for you? Heehee! If it ain't one thing it's another, right?
ReplyDeleteget well soon!!
ReplyDeleteDon't they make crystal meth out of something found in NyQuil? Do NOT stick to the recommended dose, have fun with it. Okay, bad advice. The brain is a tricky playground of quicksand and volcanoes. Who knows why the anxiety comes and goes?
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you. It would be nice to know what is curbing your anxiety.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get over your flu though. It would be nice to not have anxiety and feel your best. As of now, enjoy not being anxious with a cup of soup.
I can only remain very tight-lipped on this matter. It is wonderful for each day that is anxiety free for you and my only wish is that it will continue.
ReplyDeleteDragon? I'll have to pick up some NyQuil!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better!
When I'm super duper sick, there's no place like home.
ReplyDeleteDavid got me the the sleepy time Nyquil. I have to say it is better than taking sleeping pills because it works faster. On the plus side the dragons in my kitchen talk to me and they fly. Cute little purple critters.
ReplyDeleteGet some rest! I hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThose Nyquil products and their purple haze are way too much for me...
