Bird Brain

The Robins keep flying at my front room window over and over again.  If it is anything like walking into a window, which I have done, I wonder why they keep doing it.  I finally stuck a bunch of Post-it notes to the window.  It worked and it really spruces up the place!

  1. I'm not so into birds -- that would creep me out.

Maybe you can enter a design challenge contest or something? :)

  2. I love our birds and they were headbutting the windows too. We now have a silhouette of a cat with marbles as eyes on the window ledge. The galahs sometimes still crash into the window, but it has been reduced considerably.

  3. Yes. Birds do that. If the post-its help, then keep them up.

  5. I have a blue tit who does the same thing. I've seen others do it. They see this 'other' bird in the glass and fight it to the death. I found that the tit only flies away if I stand by the window.

  6. I feel so bad for the birds that hit our bedroom picture window. I haven't tried the post-it look!
