At the Airport

Here we are at the airport.  Flight leaves in an hour.  I am so excited!  Eeeeeee!  I wish I could scream but I think that would be considered "unruly conduct" and get me thrown out.  (Note - I don't think I have ever been "unruly" in my life.  Maybe I should add that to my Bucket List.  I do have "getting arrested for a good cause"on my Bucket List.)
Today we are going to Calgary.  We are stopping to see my fiance's daughter.  I am going to buy a new camera tomorrow as the one I have is old so I will start posting pictures tomorrow.  From there we are going to Rosebud, Alberta. Isn't Rosebud a nice name?  I could  live in a town called Rosebud.
So tell me reader, what is on your Bucket List?   Have you ever been arrested?

A couple hours later - We are at the Vancouver airport.  Flight is delayed and it is overbooked.  They keep asking for people to volunteer to not go onthis flight.  HA!  It won't be me. There is a group of ladies sitting across from us.  One of them was playing with the other's hair and then she pulled a piece out. Now she has been playing with the said hair for 10 minutes now.  It is getting on my nerves!  STOP IT!  Fuck, people are weird. OK, my flight is boarding.  Ta ta!

  2. I LOVE the fact that you have 'getting arrested' on your bucket list. I have to admit - I've done most of the things that were on my bucket list. There's still a few places I'd like to see though.

Never been arrested but I got chased by the cops when I was 15, they were in a car and I was on foot and hid under a footbridge until they went away. I'm a badass. LMAO!

  8. I've never been arrested, but I've had someone arrested :) It wasn't on my bucket list, but hey, life can surprise you.

My bucket list consists mostly of travel. If I could visit many, MANY places in the world before I die, I'll go peacefully :)

  10. I have been unruly but not to the point of being arrested. And not lately.
I lived in a town called Roseland. I still love that place.
Now you go and have the very best time! Yay!

  12. Well, welcome to Calgary when you get here - albeit only for a brief stay. (Waves manically at all passing aeroplanes!)

  13. There are weirdos everywhere... my advice... don't let the bastards get you down. Ignore them and focus on enjoying your fabulous vacation.

My bucket list has one item on it... to use up all of the fabric in my stash before I can't sew any longer.

Arrested? Yes... back in 1961 when I was 19, and Civil Rights marches were the hip thing to do for young white kids. I was in the front line of a group marching in Los Angeles... we were busted... it was filmed and broadcast on the 7:00 news... my parents saw it... I'd lied about where I was going to be that night... I was grounded for six months... it was worth it.

  14. Have a wonderful, wonderful time. Perhaps you could save all the weird behaviour and do a post when you get back about 'Weirdos I wanted to Scream at!', which could tie in quite nicely with being arrested for a just cause.
